The Orange Box – Games

Posted on:

I just bought Valve’s The Orange Box:   It’s only $40 for FIVE (great) Steam Games. Half-Life 2 HL2 Episode One HL2 Episode Two Team Fortress 2 Portal I already have HL2 but the other four are new, I have played the Portal Demo though (First Slice) and really enjoyed it.  Team Fortress 2 looks pretty good too, I have the Classic version of that already.  The cool thing about already HL2 is the fact that Valve allows you to pass your extra copy to a friend if you want. =D  Neat.

Well my Birthday is tomorrow (21st) so I went and blew $900 at BestBuy Sunday. Why would I do such a thing you might ask?  Because of this: HP Pavilion Media Center m8400f PC + 19" WideScreen LCD with built in speakers + HP All-in-one = 900 bucks in this weeks ad. Iron Man – Movie Take II

Posted on:

So I read online (a friend linked me) about something shown at the END of ALL the credits on Iron Man (in theaters).  Slightly disgusted for not staying/knowing about it… I went and saw the movie again (although with a friend this time).  It was a good surprise at the end and I’m not gonna ruin it for people who have not seen it. GO SEE THE MOVIE!  [FYI – Cam versions (of any movie) suck, period.]

Chill-Top

Posted on:

Bought a Belkin Latop Cooling Pad to replace my Antec one (from BestBuy).  The Antec ChillPad is kinda loud so it’s going to sit under my external HDDs if anything.  My laptop rests happily upon my new Belkin Pad, silence….

Passport Drives Unite

Posted on:

Well, the WD 500GB External (3.5″) was disappointing as well thanks to the long delays between spin-downs and that it still generates heat, like the Seagate did, when not in use. I returned the drive because I did not feel it was worth $170.  I’ve dropped the External want for now and have settled for another WD Passport drive, 250GB model (2.5″) off my brother for a mere $30 (in store prices are at least $100 more than that).  It’s used but so is my older 160GB one I bought off him and it works 100% fine still to today.  […]
