Today, my two week (spring?) break from classes comes to a close…

What did I do in this two week span of time, you ask?

Completed the Mid-Summer World Event on 3 Characters

Watched Transformer 2 Day of Release

Myrtle Beach June 2009 (Stayed 6 Nights)

Now it’s back to being somewhat productive by attending classes towards my Network Systems Administration Degree!

To support the “Get a Life” cause, I also gave the notice when I arrived home from vacation that I would be stepping down as a Leader (1 of 3) in the guild. 
(Which I had to log our AFK from game GM on to do…)

Well my Birthday is tomorrow (21st) so I went and blew $900 at BestBuy Sunday.
Why would I do such a thing you might ask?  Because of this: HP Pavilion Media Center m8400f PC + 19" WideScreen LCD with built in speakers + HP All-in-one = 900 bucks in this weeks ad.

Oh yes.

Now picture those 4 cores at 2.2GHz bringing you these results:

Rawr, been playing World of Warcraft with full settings and still getting 35+ FPS in the cities.
Not to mention I can now enjoy Half Life 2 and the wonders of Garrys Mod (even my Portal Demo as well—it’s only thing that lags slightly with the settings cranked up).

This is a huge jump from my Laptop being my main computing platform at home.

Bought a Belkin Latop Cooling Pad to replace my Antec one (from BestBuy).  The Antec ChillPad is kinda loud so it’s going to sit under my external HDDs if anything.  My laptop rests happily upon my new Belkin Pad, silence….

Bought a new headset then I thought, why not a surround sound system?!
And thus I now have a 5.1 – Logitech X-530

I’ve used Net10 for over a year now and I’m happy with the service.
So I ditched my old phone and upgraded to the Motorola version they have.
